The KIT-Navigator app shows the locations north and south of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and enables a search for buildings or lecture halls, and the user can also browse for institutes or service units. And that from its location that the app can determine.

The app has developed a working group on the KIT in which the service units press, communication and marketing (PKM), organization and business IT (Orbit), Steinbuch Center for Computing (SCC) and KIT library (BIB) as well as the Institute for Telematics and the Geodetic Institute were involved.

PKM realized the further development as a web app in cooperation with the company Mühlschlegel GbR.
