Permanently use an old Android device to monitor power outs. There are multiple use cases, some examples:

* Know when to turn on or off generator

* Monitor reliability of power supplier

* Know that important equipment like water pumps and fridgers are running

For best result, connect the device charger to incoming power before any backup power like generator or batteries.

Shows whatever device is charging or not and for how long it has been going on.

History of power breaks including time stamp and duration.

Send notification by SMS whatever power came or went, when it happened and the duration of the previous state. Supports multiple numbers. Standard SMS rate applies.

Threshold can be set to delay reaction to state change in case power is unstable when coming or going.

INTERNET to show UI (no internet access required)

READ_PHONE_STATE & SEND_SMS to send SMS messages

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED to start on device bootup
